Why PVD matters: standard gold plating is a thin layer sprayed on top — it wears off at friction points within weeks. PVD bonds the gold at a molecular level, which is why it survives water, sweat, and daily wear without flaking.
Care: wipe with a dry cloth. Avoid prolonged chlorine exposure and perfume sprayed directly on the piece — true of any plated finish, including this one.
